Chapters Living is seeking an experienced IT Director to oversee Community Technology Services across our network of senior living communities. The IT Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT operations, from problem-solving to cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and more, ensuring the seamless functioning of technology systems and infrastructure within each community.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy tailored to the unique needs of each community, aligned with Chapters Living's overall technology roadmap and business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems in each community, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, policies, and protocols to safeguard resident data, sensitive information, and IT assets against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals in diagnosing and resolving technical issues and challenges, providing hands-on support and guidance as needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with community staff to provide technical support, training, and guidance on IT-related matters, empowering them to leverage technology effectively to enhance resident experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, overseeing contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and procurement processes to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets for each community, allocating resources strategically to optimize technology investments and meet operational needs within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, data privacy laws, and cybersecurity standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to mitigate risks and maintain compliance posture.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT management, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and optimization.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience (at least 5-7 years) in IT, with a focus on managing IT operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong technical expertise across a wide range of IT domains, including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, MCSA) and knowledge of industry frameworks (e.g., ITIL, NIST) are desirable.
