3 years experience at the Director level or above at a multi-unit (10+ units) organization is required. Multi-unit experience at a medical or dental organization is a plus. CPA a plus but not required.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support our growth objectives while ensuring fiscal responsibility and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's short and long-term goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability.
- Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to maximize financial efficiency and liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to analyze and optimize revenue cycle management processes, including billing, collections, and insurance reimbursement.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in the healthcare industry, preferably in a dental group or similar healthcare organization.
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving results.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
