Position Description: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Iowa City

Duration: 6 months with an option to extend for an additional 6 months

Schedule/Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts (start time ranging between 7:00 am - 9:30 am)

Certifications Required:

  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support certification)

Hourly Rate: $25.00

Additional Compensation:

  • Lodging Allowance: $18.72 per hour

  • Meals Allowance: $10.33 per hour

Hourly Combined Rate: $25.00 (hourly rate) + $18.72 (lodging) + $10.33 (meals) = $54.05 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures including cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics.

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT-R certification.

  • Valid BLS certification.

  • Experience in radiologic technology within a clinical setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
