Job Title: Senior Front End Developer (React) - Onsite/Hybrid
Location: Richfield, Minnesota
Duration: 12 months + extensions

W2 only (no C2C)

Description:

We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer (React) for an exciting opportunity. This role requires candidates local to Minneapolis or willing to relocate and work onsite hybrid starting week 1. Preference will be given to candidates with prior e-commerce experience, particularly in 'cart' and 'checkout' functionalities.

Interview Process Overview:

Candidates will undergo a virtual interview process consisting of a 30-minute phone pre-screen interview and a subsequent 60-minute interview, which includes a verbal session and a HackerRank test.

Department Overview:

The Commerce View team at Best Buy is responsible for enhancing the Cart and Checkout experience on BestBuy.com. This encompasses everything from the initial click of an "Add to Cart" button to the completion of a purchase. The user experience spans web-based UIs (desktop and mobile) as well as React Native mobile applications deployed on iOS and Android.

Position Summary/Job Description:

This role involves senior-level front-end development primarily focused on web development with potential involvement in mobile development. Strong JavaScript skills are essential, along with knowledge of back-end technologies and patterns. The successful candidate will possess strong technical communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a willingness to develop a deep understanding of complex business domains.
