Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, we are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Corporate Finance Analyst to join our finance team and play a key role in evaluating and valuing potential acquisition targets within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential acquisition targets, utilizing various valuation methodologies (e.g., discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, transaction multiples)
  • Develop detailed financial models to project future cash flows and assess the financial viability of potential acquisitions
  • Analyze target company financials to identify key performance indicators, trends, and potential synergies with our company
  • Research and analyze market data and industry trends relevant to the financial services sector
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports to communicate valuation findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Support the FLP Leadership team with due diligence activities, including financial and market analysis
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in M&A valuation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, graduate degree a plus

6-8 years of experience in corporate finance or M&A, preferably within the financial services industry

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software)

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner

Strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team
