Job Summary:
The 1:1 Elementary School District LNA at Regency Home Health is responsible for providing direct patient care services to the student population in the Windham School District in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. This individual contributor role requires a compassionate, caring and responsible individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the health and wellbeing of students in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to students in the Windham School District, including but not limited to, administering medications, providing first aid, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Communicate with the student's family, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all patient care activities.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the state of New Hampshire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
