Job Description: Ladies Department Lead
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ladies Department Lead to oversee our women's fashion department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. As the Ladies Department Lead, you will play a key role in managing the department, leading a team of associates, and ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the ladies department, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet department goals.
- Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including pricing, promotions, and security measures.
- Collaborate with other department leads and store management to optimize overall store performance.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment for customers by maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing department.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competition to make informed business decisions.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in retail management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, brands, and products in the women's apparel industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and retail management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
