What you’ll be doing

  • Acts as primary oversight for all credits balances and refunds
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all refunds before they are submitted to the client
  • Responsible for resolving escalated issues related to credit balances or refunds
  • Track all refunds and report on them accurately
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all other departments and clients
  • Analyze and understand payer EOB’s and clients managed care contracts/fee schedules


Requirements:

Who you are

· High school education or equivalent

· Microsoft basic user of Word/Excel/Outlook

· Must have an impeccable attendance record and excellent work ethic

· Knowledge of and ability to comply with HIPAA, HITECH and patient confidentiality policies

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and clients

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Knowledge of Health Care industry

· Detail oriented

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· Ability to analyze and problem solve

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Cooperative work attitude toward and with co-employees, management, patients, and outside contacts

· Ability to promote favorable company image with patients, insurance companies, and general public

· Ability to quickly grasp new processes

· Perform with sense of urgency

· Ability to prioritize and follow a schedule

· Broad knowledge of multiple practice management systems
