Requirement: Data Engineer

Job Description: Forge requires a Data Engineer to join our team supporting the U.S. Army. This individual will build data ingress and egress pipelines to share data with our data interface partners using a combination of APIs and SFTP methods both synchronously and in batch. This candidate will implement pipelines and transformations using a combination of AWS and Python technologies.

Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):

  • Develop data transformation microservices
  • Create ingress and egress data pipelines to interface with other DOD systems
  • Migrate historical data to modern data formats
  • Develop APIs between services
  • Maintain interface definition documentation
  • Maintain Active Security Clearance
