Now Hiring: Certified SolidWorks Specialist

Classification: Non-exempt

Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities: The Certified SolidWorks Specialist will assist in drafting prints of products related to the utility body industry, assist in training current and future employees on best practices within the software, be responsible for quality checking prints and design models, new product development, and other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

  • 3+ years SolidWorks experience, preferably in sheet metal design
  • CSWPA-SM certification (Advanced Sheet Metal)
    • Currently hold or willing to take the next available exam

Preferred qualifications:

  • Any of the following SolidWorks certifications:
    • Model-based Definition (CSWP–MBD)
    • Weldments (CSWPA-WD)
    • Drawing Tools (CSWPA-DT)
    • SOLIDWORKS 3D Creator Professional

Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills. Extensive knowledge of software and drafting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times.
