Description:

LIA is seeking a dedicated and analytical IT Manager to monitor all IT applications and ensure network and data security is controlled and compliant by implementing/maintaining current computer systems and security measures. The IT Manager will also be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CMMC/Cybersecurity and all IT related fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement procedures for NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
  • Write IT policies, procedures, and security practices for the organization and locations related.
  • Ensures that leadership and employees follow proper guidelines and protocols related to phishing, spam, and cyber security activities.
  • Must be able to independently develop and present for approval QTR training for security purposes across the entire organization.
  • Report any improper handling of equipment, etc.
  • Conduct monthly inventory on all hardware and software eq.
  • Conduct the proper software update for any smartphones, computers, laptops, etc.
  • Conduct scans and identify any vulnerabilities and risks every 10 days.
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date software on devices that are connected to the company's network, including mobile phones.
  • Maintain educational knowledge of all IT and cybersecurity.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by making suggestions and bringing new ideas in regards to IT and cybersecurity
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit security documents.
  • Manage vulnerability compliance report.
  • Prepare and submit FISMA compliant reports as required.
  • Submit and update, as necessary, a plan for continued operation in the face of emergencies.
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
  • Maintain employee cybersecurity certifications.
  • Maintain and report equipment logs on a regular basis.
  • Analyze cost saving initiatives for hardware and software applications.
  • Submits business continuity plans that include preventive and corrective actions.
  • Establish relationships with outside vendors for IT-related products and services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in contract management, computer science, or any field equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT/Cybersecurity applications.
  • Must have current certifications in IAT - Level I DoDD requirement 8570 to include one of the following: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP.
  • Thorough knowledge of NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
