About the Role

We are looking for a ALMM Trailer Technician to join us on our journey to facilitate getting contractors the PPE needed. We are a culture-first organization that works relentlessly.

As a Trailer Technician at Vorto, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of trailers across the diverse lanes within the transportation sector. Your role will involve working with a team of technicians to ensure that trailers are safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards to support efficient transportation operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections of trailers to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.

  • Conduct repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance tasks on trailer components such as brakes, suspension systems, lighting, and couplings.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems to ensure trailer functionality and safety.

  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate trailer servicing schedules and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of trailer maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

  • Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards to uphold the quality and reliability of trailer services.

  • Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven experience as a Trailer Technician or similar role, with a strong background in trailer maintenance and repair.

  • Knowledge of trailer systems, components, and diagnostics tools relevant to the transportation industry.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate technical information clearly, and collaborate with colleagues.

  • Detail-oriented approach to conduct thorough inspections, identify issues, and perform precise repairs.

  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve trailer-related issues efficiently.

  • Certification or training in trailer maintenance, automotive technology, or a related field within the transportation sector.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

  • Must own basic hand tools and roll out box.

Compensation: $25-35/hr
