Position: Senior Solution Architect

Location: NY/NJ (3 days onsite initially, with flexibility to adapt to Banks onsite expectations)

Duration :: FTE

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect with extensive experience in Azure Cloud, Microservices architecture, and Java Spring/Spring Batch development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving projects independently, collaborating effectively with various teams, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role will require hands-on coding abilities, as well as the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions leveraging Azure Cloud services.
  • Develop and implement Microservices-based architectures using Java Spring/Spring Batch frameworks.
  • Lead project initiatives from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and drive project execution.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of X years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in Java programming and hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Batch frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture patterns, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Banking or financial industry experience is a plus.
