SUMMARY

LOCATION
Moundridge, KS
HOURS
5:00 am – 1:00 pm M-F
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Selects equipment and tools needed to perform the support function.
- Lay out, positions, and handles part to be cleaned in a safe manner.
- Required to label parts, skids, and organize to ensure safe handling during transport.
- Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and cleaning parts.
- May be required to operate, forklifts, overhead hoists, and other equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED
- Able to use and understand all weld measuring instruments, such as tape measure, calipers, protractor, combination squares, and weld gauges.
- Basic math.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, setup sheets, etc.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED
- Prefer successful completion of related course work at a trade or technical school
OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
- Requires a strong, related work history.
- Must supply own hand tools
- Ability to change assignments frequently
- Prefer previous welding, fabricating experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Can work well independently and with others.
- Observes safety and security procedures by using equipment and materials properly.
- Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent
