Must Have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer developing microservices and accelerators in a cloud environment.
  • Deep knowledge of complex patterns, distributed systems, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Expertise in migrating heterogeneous compute workloads to hosted container platforms (i.e., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Expertise in GoLang programming language, with proficiency in both microservices and monolithic architectures.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and gRPC for integrating Go-based applications with other systems and services.
  • Solid understanding of data storage solutions, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Expertise in concurrent programming, utilizing Go routines, channels, and the sync package to optimize performance.
  • Significant experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Reference Architectures, and Landing Zones.
  • Development experience in a multi-public cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of networking and DNS concepts.

  • Strong Iterative Product Development skills.
Technical Expertise:
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple work streams and stakeholders' expectations effectively.
  • Partner with Information Security teams and management to drive adherence to security compliance, metrics, and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud solutions across multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead the migration of heterogeneous compute workloads to containerized environments like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Implement and optimize microservices architecture using GoLang, ensuring robust and high-performing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and RESTful APIs.
  • Utilize your expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure effective data storage solutions.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
  • Continuously improve cloud environments through iterative development practices, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
  • Address and resolve complex cloud-related issues, applying best practices for security and compliance.
  • Work closely with Information Security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet all security requirements and compliance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the overall engineering culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience in using Terraform or other IaC tools for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of modern security frameworks and standards.
