Wondercide is looking for an entry level Maintenance Technician to assist the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.  The role will provide the right candidate with both challenging opportunities to develop & grow both today and in the future.  


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and  equipment. 
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment by inspecting, cleaning, and calibrating on a per-determined schedule. 
  • Completes necessary paperwork
  • Ensures compliance with relevant safety regulations
  • Performs lock out/tagout procedures
  • Able to climb ladders 
  • Able to use a harness & work in a safety cage for tasks performed above 12 feet
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements:: 

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience or more using power tools, such as drills & saws 
  • Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of general plumbing and electrical repair.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to follow written instructions 
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Able to operate industrial equipment, such as a Cherry Picker and/or Reach Truck
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Lifting requirement up to 50 lbs. 
  • Able to work from heights

This position is an hourly position at our Headquarters, located at 2200 Chisholm Trail Road in Round Rock, Texas.  This is a position that is eligible for overtime pay and reports directly to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
