Terminitor Pesto Control, a leader in pest management solutions, is currently looking to enhance its dynamic team with the addition of a Licensed Pest Control Technician. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring the health and safety of our clients’ environments. Located centrally and serving a broad array of customers, this role requires hands-on engagement and is not available for remote work.

We are looking for a professional who is not only adept in their technical skills but also excels in customer service, understanding that our approach goes beyond mere pest elimination to encompass a comprehensive, client-focused solution. Joining our team means contributing to a legacy of trust, safety, and expert service delivery, backed by years of industry experience and a commitment to excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous, destructive or annoying pests.
  • Offering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options.
  • Providing estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance.
  • Setting traps for rodents such as mice and rats.
  • Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants, cockroaches, and other insects.
  • Safely and efficiently removing wasp, hornet, and bee nests.
  • Strategically positioning bait pellets to eliminate rats and mice.
  • Covering holes and cracks with foam, mesh, and wood to hinder rodent and insect entry.
  • Recommending additional products and services for effective pest control.
Requirements
  • Valid Pest Control Technician License.
  • Proven experience as a pest control technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of pest management and control issues and solutions.
  • Ability to handle and apply chemicals and other pest control treatments following safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and educate clients on pest control management.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as crawling, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work on-call for urgent pest-related issues.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage time effectively, maintaining high standards of work and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training in industry methods and safety practices.
