Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables, providing menus and assisting with seating arrangements as needed.
  • Present menus and provide detailed explanations of menu items, specials, and promotions to guests.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clarity and precision in communication.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and bar promptly, monitoring order progress to ensure timely delivery to guests.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with established presentation standards, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with meals and address any concerns or requests promptly and courteously.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and proactively offer refills, condiments, or additional items to enhance their dining experience.
  • Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including dining areas and server stations.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.

 

Requirements and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and order delivery.
  • Capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
