Chambersburg Bible Church (chambersburgbible.org) is seeking a pastor to preach the Word of God and shepherd the church for the glory of God.

The Church

Chambersburg Bible Church was founded in 1952. During 1987 the current church was constructed at 810 Orchard Drive. Our church is an independent, fundamental, missions minded church supporting 15 missionaries and six mission agencies under a congregational form of government located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Chambersburg Bible Church has no interest in a contemporary type of ministry. Our average church attendance is currently 80-90 worshippers during Sunday morning worship service and 20 at Wednesday Bible study and prayer time.

The Community

Chambersburg is growing and currently has a population of 22,000 and is in south central Pennsylvania 22 miles west of Gettysburg and 25 miles north of Hagerstown, Maryland adjacent to the Interstate-81 corridor. The area was originally largely agricultural but due to its location over the years has come to be home to large manufacturing companies, warehouses, and distribution centers.

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who is married, graduated from a Seminary, Divinity School or Bible College and has at least 5 years of Pastoral experience. He must maintain a pulpit/teaching standard of KJV only. We feel that considering our experience and education requirements that the successful candidate will be approximately 35 to 50 years of age.
