GENERAL FUNCTIONS

LOUi Consulting Group, Inc., in working with its partner, SenseAbilities, is seeking professional assistance with the fulfillment of its mission to support children and their families by providing lifelong knowledge and skills with enthusiasm, passion, and creativity in the Middle Georgia area.

A Clinical Fellow Speech Therapist focuses on receptive language, or the ability to understand words spoken to you, and expressive language, or the ability to use words to express yourself. It also deals with the mechanics of producing words, such as articulation, pitch fluency, and volume.

DESCRIPTION

  • Independently perform speech therapy sessions and exercises
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assess patient conditions and progress
  • Assist with case management and coordination of care for patients
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology
  • Georgia SLP or PCE license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

MEDICAL SPECIALITIES: Pediatric

WORK SETTING: In-Person

PREFERRED

  • Experience with pediatric population preferred, but not required
