We are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our growing company With a large footprint in North & South Carolina, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals with great customer service skills to join our team This is an independent role where you will have the opportunity to work for a company but feel like an entrepreneur.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect and perform pest control treatments for customers to identify pest infestations and determine the appropriate treatment plan
• Use power tools and hand tools to apply pesticides and other pest control products
• Set up traps to capture or eliminate pests
• Document all treatments and maintain accurate records of services provided
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills as you interact with customers, office staff, and service managers
• Follow a daily schedule, insuring timely arrival at each account
• Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Performs daily truck inspections
• Represents Killingsworth with honesty and integrity
• Additional job duties, as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills
• Solid problem-solving skills and proven time management
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate application equipment safely & effectively
• Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, etc.
• You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 -3 years of experience in the pest control industry preferred
• NC registered technician training is a plus but not required to be considered

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely operate equipment
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times throughout the workday
• Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to seasonal weather (extreme heat or cold)
• Subject to exposure to animals and insects being outdoors for much of the day
• Must be able to perform inspections in attics and crawl spaces
