Our firm needs an exceptional Billing Specialist to assist in managing the Firm's billing processes and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing operations. You will be responsible for handling all billing concerns, managing client accounts, and providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients will be key to your success in this role.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME, REMOTE/IN-OFFICE positions available


Compensation- starting at $18 hourly DOE

Compensation:

$18 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Review time and billing system daily
  • Prepare pre-bills bi-monthly and provide them to leadership for review and approval
  • Handle client calls and inquiries related to billing, providing prompt and professional responses
  • Prepare final invoices/statements and send them to clients in accordance with the Firm's policies for time-keeping, billing, and expense tracking
  • Process payments, manage retainer/trust account compliance, auto-replenishment, and installment payments
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned [if full-time]
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, at a minimum
  • Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role
  • A high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading skills)
  • Ability to enjoy being a team player and provide great customer service
