Position: MRI Tech

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Environment: Inpatient/ED

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 16 weeks

Schedule Details: 3 12-hour shifts per week (Between 0645-1915 and 0945-2215), variable days of the week

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 3 12-hour shifts during the day

Weekend Rotation: As needed; may work on Saturdays

On-call Requirements: Sundays and Holidays from 7 AM to 10 PM

Holiday Requirements: As needed; may work up to every holiday and surrounding days

Floating Requirements: None

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital setting
  • 1+ year of travel experience
  • Must have experience with Siemens equipment

Experience Preferred:

  • Cardiac experience
  • Knowledge of anesthesia cases and pacemakers

Licenses Required: None

Certificates Required:

  • BLS
  • ARRT with MRI registry

Equipment: Siemens Avanto 1.5T

Orientation: Minimum 1 week (5 8-hour shifts)

Additional Notes:

  • 1-2 techs working in the unit at any given time
  • Free housing provided (1 bedroom, non-pet units, not shared unless requested)
