Escape to the pristine beaches in Southwest Florida Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling medical career near captivating beaches? Millennium Physician Group is seeking a talented Advanced Provider to join our esteemed Cardiology Care medical team.

  • Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm (no weekends, no call schedule)
  • Access to benefits and 401K

Responsibilities

  • Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
  • Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal.
  • Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
  • Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.


Required skills and qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited institution required
  • Valid license to practice as an APRN/PA in Florida
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional patient care and medical services
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Analytical thinking skills with the ability to investigate and diagnose
  • English verbal and fluent English written required


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology care
  • Urgent Care and Emergency Room experience may be considered
  • CPR/BLS certifications preferred
