Duties:
This position will be expected to perform responsibilities required to accomplish the following objectives:
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current/practices/programs and looks for way to improve the division through regular and ongoing review of ISO processes, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Analyze data from field mobility and Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) as we move towards technology and data driven decisions.
  • Make recommendations to management based on data and trends.
  • Recommends improvement strategies for redesign or restructuring based on findings.
  • Assist management with research, data analysis, and drafting presentations for DWU Executive Team and City Council.
  • Serve as expert for various special projects including Field Mobility and AMI.
  • Completes all division reports; performance measures, weekly, monthly, estimate report, DMR, and all reports for the UMS team.
  • Analyze procedural and financial barriers to provide effective and efficient delivery to the division and department. This would include an analysis of the flow of service delivery and the interrelationship components.
  • Manage Fleet and Equipment inventory for the division by tracking maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacement (and other duties as assigned).
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
Experience:Four (4) years professional level experience in operational analysis which involved:
  • Collection/analysis of data
  • Evaluation of program/process effectiveness and/or
  • Identifying areas for improvement and existing barriers to program/process.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Through knowledge of project management principles.
  • Knowledge of research methodology.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Ability to disseminate information through the preparation of concise reports.
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Ability to pass a background check with no FELONY or Class A/B MISDEMEANOR(s).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
