Job Summary


As an intern, you are considered an integral part of The Gund Company team. You will be challenged with completing an impactful business project that will enhance your business skills as well as contribute to the company’s goals and objectives. You will also gain additional experience and insights through structured activities such as training sessions, department meetings and extracurricular events.


We have current opportunities in Engineering, Marketing and Safety departments.


Requirements:

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.


Program Components

  • Hands-on learning through an assigned project within one of The Gund Company’s functions. Specific accountabilities will vary for each project but may include development, data gathering, research and analysis, input into strategy and project management.
  • Exposure to The Gund Company business; both domestic and international
  • End of summer presentation to senior management

All About You

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently; keen analytical and proven problem-solving skills; strong strategic and conceptual aptitude; proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Travel

Travel is not required.


Physical Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to crouch. The employee may occasionally lift items as heavy as 25lbs.
