We are seeking an experienced and dynamic senior-level professional to join our team as the Director of Applications. This role is designed for a seasoned leader with over 5 years of experience managing a complex portfolio of business applications and a proven track record in driving innovation and excellence in enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading application support, development, and delivery teams in intricate business environments.

This is a direct-hire, salaried position based in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 100% on-site work. The role offers a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting the value our client places on securing top talent.
Rate: $160K - $180K/year W2

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the IT applications team while providing direct business application solution delivery and support
  • Ensure effective analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of computer applications
  • Ensure compliance across the applications portfolio in line with financial and regulatory controls
  • Establish priorities and schedules for IT applications projects, provide reporting on performance and cost, and manage applications budget and contribute to IT planning

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing a complex portfolio of business applications at the enterprise level
  • Utilizing knowledge from your 5+ years’ experience leading application support at a senior level, development, and delivery teams in a complex business operation; with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery leadership
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and development, and formal design methodology including utilization of knowledge of Java, Oracle, .NET, etc., on Windows platforms and current web technologies (i.e., HTML, CSS, etc
  • Strong ERP implementation experience at the architect level, specifically with Oracle Fusion. Our client signed a contract with Oracle Fusion and need this person to spearhead the implementation
  • Leveraging 3+ years’ experience Senior IT applications leaders (Director / VP of Applications) with managing design, development, and implementation of enterprise systems (ERP)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole team succeeds

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
