Location: Clearwater, FL
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our 1st shift team. This position plays a critical role in our manufacturing process, focusing on precision, efficiency, and innovation. You will work on programming CNC machines, developing tool paths, and optimizing machining processes to create high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Select cutting tools, determine feeds and speeds, and create efficient tool paths for a variety of projects.
  • Evaluate parts for manufacturability and recommend practical improvements to enhance machining processes.
  • Make informed decisions on part mounting methodologies daily.
  • Program prismatic and complex topologies for short-run tool-room production.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Unigraphics NX11 or newer CAD/CAM software is required.
  • Expertise in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling machines, as well as 2-axis and 2-axis with C-axis and live tooling lathes.
  • In-depth knowledge of plastic injection mold making, high-speed machining, and the design/manufacturing of electrodes, fixtures, jigs, and mold frames.
  • Strong skills in teamwork, communication, organization, creativity, attention to detail, logical thinking, and a solid understanding of mathematics, spatial relations, manufacturing strategies, machinability data, and tooling selection.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows directory file structure is necessary.
  • Minimal 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer is required.
