Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to join our dynamic venture capital firm. As a Junior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the investment team by conducting market research, financial analysis, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital industry and contribute to the growth of innovative startups.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities by conducting market research and industry analysis.
  • Analyze financial statements, business models, and investment metrics to assess the viability and potential return of investments.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal review and decision-making.
  • Support the due diligence process by gathering and verifying information from target companies.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on various projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in technology, startups, and venture capital.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or work experience in finance, consulting, or venture capital.
  • Familiarity with venture capital investing and the startup ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of valuation techniques and investment analysis.
