As a Dietary Aide at Kingston Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' nutritional needs and overall well-being. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals, while providing excellent service and care. Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with meal preparation and service in accordance with dietary guidelines
  • Setting up dining areas and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining spaces
  • Providing friendly and attentive service to residents during mealtimes.
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Upholding Kingston Healthcare's commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a food service or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care
  • Willingness to adhere to dietary guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
