Position Overview 

The Assistant Website Manager will support and report to the Marketing Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing all aspects of Cristaux’s digital presence on both our ecommerce and main website platforms. 

This position will play a role in shaping Cristaux's e-commerce presence by driving success in the digital marketplace. This position will require technical proficiency and a strategic mindset to ensure a seamless and profitable digital experience. By working in tandem with the marketing department, the Assistant Website Manager will optimize all web components of the Cristaux brand. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify e-commerce store, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals and market trends. 
  • Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory to maintain accuracy and relevance. 
  • Implement and customize apps as needed to enhance website functionality.  
  • Maintain and update main website content on WordPress. 
  • Work in tandem with our web partners for proper integration and optimal results on all platforms. 
  • Track and analyze both e-commerce and main website metrics. This will include traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value, page rankings, etc.  
  • Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of all initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing campaigns aimed at driving traffic, customer acquisition, and sales conversion for both e-commerce and main website. 
  • Work with Marketing Department to utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to maximize online visibility and engagement. 
  • Analyze customer journey data and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the online experience for both platforms.  
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Departments and partners to implement strategies that enhance user interface, navigation, checkout process, and customer service. 
  • Assist with writing, editing, and troubleshooting during the development of new and existing web projects. 

Specific Position Requirements 

  • Must have at least a bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science or equivalent. IT experience is an added benefit to this position. 
  • Web-based experience managing an e-commerce store and a website (WordPress, Shopify, Wix). 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Basic understanding of SEO. 
  • Solid command of the English language: Both written and verbal. 
  • Strong multi-tasking and organization skills. Advanced time management and analytical skills. 
  • Impeccable attention to detail. 
  • Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast paced environment.  
  • Flexible, friendly, and engaging. Must be able to proactively communicate with upper management, individuals, or groups. 
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Marketing Operations Manager. 

 

Position Type 

This is a full-time position. Typical working hours are 8 am-4:30pm. Communication and access to emails after hours as needed. Once trained, the candidate may work remotely and from our Elk Grove Village facility. 

Required Education & Experience 

Associate degree. Minimum two (2) years of related computer science experience. Will preferably have a degree in Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent. 

Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements 

The Assistant Website Manager must have direct experience working in the back end of ecommerce stores and a CMS (WordPress preferred). Experience using Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud Applications. Must be prepared to oversee, strategize, and enhance all websites to encourage a better end user experience. 

Daily tasks include: Day-to-day management of all web applications and web branding. Analyzing and adjusting user experience based on feedback. Will need to work with members of the Cristaux team to create and implement all marketing initiatives. All tasks will be aligned with company goals to accurately measure KPIs.
