SiteWorx Services is a Hauling, Excavating, and Aggerates provider in Warsaw, IN. We provide a variety of services designed to be convenient for residential, light commercial, and industrial projects. Our team members are trained Excavation Laborers who are ready to tackle projects others may avoid, handling them quickly and efficiently.

At SiteWorx, an Operator/Laborer will operate heavy equipment in a safe, efficient, and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product. Perform general laborer duties on assigned crews in a safe, efficient and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product. Involves physical labor such as shoveling, raking, lifting, and moving equipment. Labor experience a plus but not required. Pay is based upon skills and experience.

What You'll Do: Perform general laborer duties on assigned crews in a safe, efficient and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product. Involves physical labor such as shoveling, raking, lifting, and moving equipment. Labor experience a plus but not required. Pay is based upon skills and experience.


JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Acts as crew member for tasks assigned which may operating various pieces of heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, graders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers.
  • Perform general maintenance and inspection on the equipment.
  • Acts as crew member for tasks assigned which may include shoveling, raking, lifting, driving trucks, laser grader, GPS, and moving equipment.
  • Pavement and landscape removal and restoration as required
  • May operate equipment including items listed above and pick-up trucks and trailers, hand and pneumatic tools, survey instruments and other equipment that may be used by the utility.
  • Must be conscientious, dependable and responsible. Have proper regard for the use of time, materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Must have ability to cooperate and maintain a friendly relationship with fellow employees and supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively, coherently, and respectfully orally and in writing with the public and co-workers under all circumstances.
  • May include snow removal, general site and building maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or (GED) preferred
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement preferred.
  • Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL
  • Must have a "Safety First" attitude
  • Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have reliable transportation and be willing to work nights, weekends, and unexpected longer hours when necessary
  • Be a Team player, Leadership and/or management experience is a plus
  • Mechanically inclined, logical thinker, problem solver and trouble shooter.
  • Self-driven, disciplined, and dependable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Required to work regardless of weather conditions. This may require working in weather including hot, cold, dry, wet or nighttime conditions.
  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to be mobile in a variety of work environments including climbing steps, ramps, ladders, and entry into confined spaces.
