  • Perform CT scans according to physician orders
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment
  • Review and evaluate CT images for quality and accuracy
  • Assist radiologists in performing CT-guided procedures
  • Provide education and instructions to patients regarding CT procedures
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Participate in quality improvement and assurance activities
  • Stay updated with advancements in CT scanning technology and techniques
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance standards
  • Assist in training and mentoring new staff members
  • Provide support during emergency and high-stress situations
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT certification in CT scanning
  • State licensure as a CT Technologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech
  • Strong knowledge of CT scanning procedures and equipment
  • Proficiency in PACS and EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Understanding of radiation safety and protection measures
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Continuing education in CT technology and medical imaging
  • Current CPR certification
