Summit Santa Clara currently has an open position for an Imaging Lead (2nd shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.
Position Summary: The Imaging Lead’s responsibility is to ensure that all areas of the department are processing panels through to development according to the production schedule. Will assist in the training of new employees in the department.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of five (5) years’ in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all different areas within the department are working on the right jobs according to due dates.
- Responsible for organizing the department.
- Making sure that PM’s are performed, checking inventory.
- Insure quality.
- Performs other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the production manager.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the individual to perform for the entire shift while standing.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 20 lbs.
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum (5) five-year PCB industry preferred.
- Ability to communicate with managers and other department leads.
- Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.
- Must have very good concentration, must be able remain focused with interruptions.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.
Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.
Pay Range for this position is $28.00 -$30.00 hour based on experience.
