Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are committed to ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet to deliver exceptional service to our customers. As part of our growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ivyland, PA.

Position Overview:

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. From routine inspections to complex engine diagnostics and repairs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the transportation or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • We Offer Competitive wages, $29 - $40/hr. based on experience.
