Beacon Clinic was founded for the purpose of delivering a level of care that we, as a team, can all be proud of. We are a patient-focused cancer and rheumatology center that is committed to providing the highest quality of medical care and supportive services. We were founded in 2018 by Dr. David Bartels, focusing on cancer and blood conditions. Today, we provide care services to not only Medical Oncology and Hematology, but Radiation Oncology, and Rheumatology patients as well. We are also dedicated to advancing the field by engaging in clinical research and offering our patients the opportunity to participate in various clinical trials.


Beacon's Radiation services opened in early 2023 and we are excited to be looking at adding to our Radiation Therapist team. We are currently able to offer a PRN schedule.


Job Duties Include:

  • Interprets and implements prescription, treatment plan and plan of care as directed by the radiation oncologist.
  • Updates patient records with radiation dosage given.
  • Maintains and operates radiation therapy equipment.
  • Determines the impact of therapeutic interventions on the patient's condition and recognizes the patient progress towards meeting desired outcomes.
  • Operates in multiple medical software's and Microsoft software's
  • Documents care based on standards of care/ best practice.
  • Performs scheduled treatment chart checks.
  • Willing to complete various duties throughout the clinic in order to meet our mission of providing an unparalleled patient experience.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Varian True Beam and Aria experience preferred.
  • Communicates effectively in times of high stress.

Hours:

  • To be determined, possible one to two days per week.
