About the Position

  • Rehab/Chiropractic Aide
  • Full-time 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period)
  • Days

Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Aide prepares and cleans treatment areas, assists in positioning patients, and maintains inventory of supplies. You will play a vital role on the acute care nursing team by following our patients throughout their recovery process and returning them back to their independence


Here's what you'll do when you join us:

  • Prepare patients for treatment, assisting medical staff as directed included but not limited to transfers, ambulation, and vital signs.
  • Room patient for Chiropractor visits, review patient intake and insurance forms, and vital signs.
  • File and manage paperwork to be canned into medical record and assist patients with scheduling as needed,
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for use and maintain suppl of inventory.
  • Schedule the peak performance program and complete phone messages and print schedules.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Graduate of a Nursing Aide program. Certification and current listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry preferred.
  3. BLS Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire and maintains certification.
  4. Chiropractic Assistant training and Therapy experience preferred.
  5. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs as required.
  6. Demonstrated ability to adhere to and follow Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital Mission, Values, Vision and policies.
  7. Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
