Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Overview: As a Junior Financial Analyst specializing in Financial Reporting and Governance, you will support the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. You will work closely with senior analysts and financial managers to enhance the quality and accuracy of financial reports and contribute to effective governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations by reviewing and validating financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and documentation required for audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information.
  • Maintain and update financial reporting systems and documentation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance governance.
  • Provide support in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct research and analysis on financial performance and governance issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and governance practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
