Our team, led by industry professionals, is committed to building excellent working partnerships powered by people.Role Overview:We are seeking skilled 5DX Automated X-ray Equipment Operators & Programmers at various levels (I, II, III) to join our team in Seymour, CT. This role involves operating and programming the 5DX X-ray machine to inspect and analyze components.Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with team members and supervisors.
  • Solve minor problems and recognize when to seek supervisor assistance.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Work efficiently under time pressure and adapt positively to change.
  • Contribute to a positive, healthy, and safe work environment, complying with OSHA and MSDS safety policies.
  • Operate the 5DX machine proficiently, including loading programs, running boards, and logging defects.
  • Use MIS (Aegis) software effectively.
  • Complete Component Identification training.
  • Obtain IPC 610 Certification.
Operator Level I:
  • Operate the 5DX machine under moderate supervision.
  • Load and recall appropriate programs.
  • Identify and record defects, report false calls and trends.
  • Required: 0-3 years of industry experience.
Operator Level II:
  • Operate the 5DX machine independently with high accuracy and speed.
  • Load and recall programs, identify and record defects, report false calls.
  • Required: 3-5 years of industry experience.
Operator Programmer Level III:
  • Create and define complex inspection programs from customer data.
  • Debug and optimize programs, maintain and organize program files.
  • Provide data and insights for process improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
  • Required: Extensive experience in defining complex programs and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

What the Machine Does:
  • Inspection: Scans components to generate detailed internal images.
  • Analysis: Detects defects such as cracks and voids using advanced algorithms.
  • Automation: Increases inspection throughput and consistency.
  • Reporting: Provides analysis results and generates detailed reports.

  • Preparation: Place the component in the machine’s inspection chamber.
  • Configuration: Set scanning parameters via the machine’s interface.
  • Scanning: Initiate scanning to capture images.
  • Analysis: Review and analyze images for defects.
  • Reporting: Generate and review reports based on analysis.
