PacAero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.


The Position:

A Machinist Trainee is responsible for operating and tending computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Under close supervision, this role involves basic machine setup, operation, and part inspection. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry.


Pay depends on experience level and shift. Starting pay for entry level is $20.00/hr base. Training on Day shift required for up to 3-6 months.


Shifts:

  • Day Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm
  • Night Shift Monday - Thursday 3:15pm to 1:45am ($2/hr Shift Pay)
  • Weekend Day Shift Friday - Sunday 5:00am to 6:00pm ($2/hr Shift Pay)
  • Weekend Night Shift Friday - Sunday 5:00pm to 6:00am ($4/hr Shift Pay)
Requirements:
  • No experience required
  • Possesses positive attitude and a collaborative work style
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T preferred
  • Aptitude for creative problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with all employees
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work with a microscope the majority of the day
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate and respond to problems during the machining process
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with sound decision making ability with little or no support
  • Willing to complete other duties as assigned
