General Summary:

We are looking for Direct Care Staff to work an awake graveyard shift in our group home setting 3-4 Nights a week.

Shifts range from 10pm-6am, to 9pm-7am, and 8pm-8am.

Will provide direct care to residents throughout the night shift, as well as housekeeping duties.

Weekends included. Will pay an additional $1 per hour as weekend shift differential


Example of Duties: This list in non-inclusive

  • Communicate with PM shift Lead/Sr for an orderly transition of shift and responsibilities
  • Remain awake and alert to the needs of clients throughout entire shift
  • Check beds and residents at least every hour and legibly and accurately document in charts
  • Ensure residents are dry and night clothing and linen is changed as needed
  • Do general and specific nighttime cleaning as requested
  • Assist with medications as directed
  • Follow written programs as needed for clients who awaken during the night
  • Prepare the main food dishes for the next day according to the specific menu instructions.
Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years

Valid Idaho Drivers License (other state license ok for 60 days)

Clearance from Department Of Health and Welfare Criminal History Unit

Have a GED or higher

Certified in CPR/FA, Mandt and Assistance with Medication Administration (Can complete within 60 days of hire)
