Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic Ala Carte and Banquet Server Assistants or Food Runners to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our Club’s dining operation and responsible for our members’ experiences.

You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract members.

Job Duties:

• Proper serving and clearing of food and beverages.
• Knowledge of our menu and ability to answer questions about ingredients or cooking methods.
• Setting a table properly: positioning of china, silver, and glassware
• Ability and willingness to communicate courteously and politely with members.
• Gathering and setting of daily functions: placing tables, and chairs and setting to specifications noted on the write-up.
• The most important requirement is to show up on time, be properly groomed and dressed, and be in a positive frame of mind to be a productive member of our team.
• Stock water glasses, wine glasses, teapots, creamers, cups and saucers, bread and spread/oil, vegetable tray, or cheese tray on tables after initial sitting.
• Ready each table according to the reservation sheet—place water on the table 15 minutes before reservation time
• Assist servers with clearing tables after each course.
• Bus trays to the kitchen after clearing.
• Refill water glasses.
• Replenish bread and spread/oil, vegetable tray, or cheese tray on tables if requested.
• Return all trays to the kitchen.
• Restock linen.
• Restock silverware, glassware, cups and saucers, bread plates, teapots, and creamers.
• Empty trash to the dumpster
• Assist servers with re-setting tables for lunch or dinner.
• Attend menu tastings.
• Attend additional training classes as announced, i.e. wine training, and banquet training.
• Additional duties/projects as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to bend and reach for items off the shelf, carry trays, able to lift to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 4 to 10 hours.
• Use touch screen for POS system.

Clubhouse Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Bar Manager, Banquet Manager,
