Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Architect with over 10 years of professional experience to lead and manage multiple project architect teams. This role primarily supports self-storage architecture projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, delivering high-quality projects, and experience in self-storage facilities, warehouses, commercial, or metal building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple project architect teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee the design and development of self-storage facilities, warehouses, commercial buildings, and metal building projects.
- Ensure all architectural designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and team members.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Stamp and approve architectural drawings, approximately 20 per year, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect with a valid architectural license.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
- Proven experience in leading and managing architectural teams.
- Extensive experience in self-storage facilities, warehouses, commercial, or metal building projects.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to quality.
Compensation:
- Base salary commensurate with experience.
- Additional compensation per stamped drawing, approximately 20 per year.
