About the Role: The Territory Sales Representative (Estimator) - Pipe Lining is tasked with selling products or services, driven solely by meeting sales quotas. Success is defined by efficiently managing assigned territories and conducting in-person visits to customer sites. The focus is on achieving business targets through rigorous territory management. In addition, the individual will forge lasting, profitable relationships with customers while upholding a consistently professional image for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct customer onsite visits to assess project scope, identify potential challenges, and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for trenchless pipelining and cured in place piping projects any other relevant project expenses.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the materials, labor, equipment, and timeline required for each project phase.
  • Appropriately utilize drain and sewer camera/scope tools to inspect conditions of drains and piping.
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to ensure accurate calculations and consistent documentation of estimates.
  • Provide detailed and clear written and verbal explanations of cost breakdowns, assumptions, and exclusions in the estimates.
  • Overcome customer objections using established sales processes and scripting while maintaining urgency and empathy with the customer.
  • Follow up on unsold estimates on a set cadence to maximize close percentage.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and project-specific documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements related to estimating and sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of residential plumbing sales experience highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of prior experience in pipelining, cured in place piping (CIPP) estimating highly preferred
  • Proficiency in using estimating software, tools, and applications.
  • Highly motivated to provide value-based solutions to customers with a desire to maximize close rate while maintaining empathy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate complex concepts to customers.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in analyzing project requirements and constraints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
