About the job

Elephants offers great local foods from scratch every day, and much of that food is prepared (cooked, baked, and packaged) at our SE Portland Central Kitchen. To accomplish this goal, we rely on an exceptional group of food professionals to produce high-quality food products 24/7. We are a speedy team that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our stores and customers.

We need a Dish Steward for our high-volume kitchen that serves 8 deli locations and a large catering operation. We want you to go home proud of a good day’s work. This is your chance to break into the kitchen and show what you are made of Some duties will be cleaning dishes, sanitizing surfaces, following cleaning checklists, and taking out trash.

A food handler's card is required for this position.
