Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer with expertise in Java 17+ and Angular 8+ to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a focus on Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot) and modern front-end technologies such as Angular 8+. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining UI components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces using Angular 8+.
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using Java 17+ and Spring Framework (preferably Spring Boot).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, Harness, and AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Write efficient SQL queries (preferably PL/SQL) for database interactions.
  • Manage and maintain version control using GitHub.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Java 17+: Extensive experience in Java development, including hands-on experience with Java 17+.
  • Spring Framework: Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
  • Angular 8+: Strong experience in developing user interfaces using Angular 8+.
  • SQL: Solid understanding of SQL, with a preference for PL/SQL.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with Concourse, Jenkins, Harness, and AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Version Control: Proficient in using GitHub for version control.
  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Competencies: Angular 13, Core Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
