As an IT Manager at StartCHURCH, you will:

Manage a team of technology professionals to provide technical support to all users, help maintain systems, security, and processes, track and document inventory and technology assets, and participate in company projects as needed as a representative of the IT department.

  • Evaluate and recommend information technology strategies, plans, and priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation
  • Lead and manage a small, but agile team to support clients and employees in a timely manner
  • Provide coaching, learning, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing team
  • Help secure the reliability, scalability, and security of technology systems and infrastructure
  • Provide support for local and remote workers with all desktop support issues during regular business operations and during emergency situations
  • Support the company with all phone setup, usage, training, and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs and discover where IT can align with business objectives
  • Maintain employee software licenses and accounts on an ongoing basis, including 3rd party software utilized by the staff (Slack, Dropbox, Google Suite, etc.)
  • Evaluate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure all service-level agreements are met
  • Maintain inventory, configuration, and oversight of all staff workstations, including but not limited to computers, phones, backup power supplies, headsets, etc.
  • Train users on the proper use of hardware equipment and answer all general questions related to hardware in use.
  • Participate in ongoing IT training to continue to stay current on new hardware and software as required.
  • Participate in cyber security planning, training, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Define, track, and report key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of IT support and operations.

  • Experience administering/supporting CRM systems
  • Experience troubleshooting VoIP phone systems (Vonage Business)
  • Experience using/administering a ticketing system such as Jira Service Desk and Confluence
  • Experience using/supporting Google products such as Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
  • Experience with Google Workspace Administration
  • Experience using/supporting Mac productivity software such as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
  • Experience using/supporting 3rd party software products (installed and SaaS)
  • Experience supporting users in a hybrid work environment (local and remote)
  • Experience troubleshooting networking hardware
  • Experience managing budgets and inventory for hardware/software
  • Experience managing a support team with SLA/KPI/Metrics reporting
  • Ability to successfully communicate technical information to all levels of the company
