Job DescriptionJob Description

The Slot Attendant encourages new guest enrollments into the A-Play Club while acknowledging and maintaining all aspects of slot related duties, such as identifying jackpots, generating documents through the online system, and answering all guest questions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Safeguards assets of the company
  2. Assists Slot Shift Supervisors with any duties designated
  3. Observes slot machine play
  4. Verifies and/or pays customers for jackpots and signs required forms
  5. Services machines when minor malfunctions occur
  6. Verifies jackpots within certain level and signs required forms
  7. Monitors assigned slot area for situations requiring attention or action
  8. Ensures compliance with Federal currency reporting regulations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  2. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work demands
  3. High level of discretion and confidentiality
  4. Must be detail oriented

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Six months of experience in a slot attendant or casino-based position preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have high level computer skills with experience in excel.

REASONING ABILITY

Remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, directing others, making decisions, bending/stooping, observing, stretching, pushing, turning, balancing

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Inside, noisy, secondary smoke, and bright lights
