Golden View Learning Center is hiring a center-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Oak Park location. We are looking for a compassionate, high-energy, and efficient individual who wants a rewarding career by making difference in the lives of those affected by autism. This position is a full-time in a center-based environment and does not require travel.


Mission Statement
To provide effective and ethical treatment in order to help individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities reach their full potential. To provide programming based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and utilize evidence-based interventions. To provide the highest quality therapy for children we serve and the highest level of support for their families.

Description:

The role of the BCBA is to develop and provide ABA programming to Golden View Learning Center’s clients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and updating treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, providing supervision to Behavior Technicians, providing 1:1 therapy (as needed), conducting parent training, and monitoring of center-based ABA programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA).
  • Develop functional behavior plans based on the results of FBA.
  • Conduct skills assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to address communication, feeding, play, self-care, and social skills.
  • Implement protocols and monitor data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives.
  • Update treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in center, home, and community-based environments.
  • Supervise Behavior Technicians implementing ABA based treatment plans.
  • Coordinate Behavior Technicians schedules with the family.
  • Train family members to implement behavior and treatment plans.
  • Ensure that the child is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
  • Follow the policies and procedures of Golden View Learning Center, LLC.


Requirements:

  • Must be certified by the BACB as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Must possess a master’s degree or post-graduate certification in applied behavior analysis.
  • Must maintain CPR or BLS certification
  • Must possess a Driver’s License.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and possess excellent communication skills.


Position Details:

  • Travel is not required.
  • Materials are provided.
  • Position hours are Monday - Friday 7:45am-4:15pm
  • The billable requirement for this position is 30 billable hours per week.
