As a Behavior Technician, you step into a role where you're a beacon of hope for families. Whether you're designated as an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT, you're the face of our company, representing our unwavering commitment to providing top-notch care. With comprehensive training and ongoing support from our dedicated supervising clinicians and leadership team, you're equipped to make a real difference in the lives of the children we serve.

Your work takes place directly in the child's home as you offer personalized 1:1 support. From daytime sessions to afterschool opportunities, you aim to establish essential skills that empower children to thrive both at home and in their community. We arm you with the tools you need to succeed, providing a rich array of materials, stimuli, and best practices to foster learning, behavior modification, and positive reinforcement. Discovery ABA provides ABA therapy services to children aged 2 to 21. Our hands-on approach and commitment to evidence-based therapy aim to prepare children to function effectively in all areas of their lives. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN - RBT

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up-to-date
  • insurance
  • Ability to work with clients of multiple ages, skill levels, and behaviors
  • Prior experience with EMR systems for data collection and medical records

Preferred:

  • Ability to obtain a CPR/BLS certificate (if applicable)
  • A 40-hour BT certificate
  • TRICARE certification
  • A passion for driving change and supporting independent growth
  • A desire to be a positive influence in the community and in the lives of our clients
